Mary Loveland
Mary Loveland is the Owner / Founder and principle inspiration of Indigo Healing Arts. Mary trained as a nurse and specialized in orthopedics and neurology. She left the profession in 1996, after developing a severe latex allergy with complications of auto-immune disease and chemical sensitivities. Mary says “I’ve always been into health and helping others. After being on twenty two medications within a year, I decided to try to get healthy naturally.” Mary sought out acupuncture, massage, chi-gung, yoga and meditation and found relief for her symptoms. “As my health improved, I wanted to reach out to others and help them achieve what I was able to do.” Utilizing these natural modalities to heal herself lead to training in: Massage Therapy, Yoga, Aruyeda, Bio-Feedback and Esthetics. Mary knows first hand the impact of “Sick Building Syndrome” and was determined that Indigo Healing Arts create a non-toxic environment by utilizing the natural healing qualities of Green Building.

Rebecca Mayne
I am so excited to be teaching with this beautiful studio! I am a San Francisco Bay Area native that just returned from living, studying and teaching yoga in Boulder, CO for the past several years. There, I graduated from Naropa University, a Buddhist-inspired university, where I studied somatic psychology and yoga. Teaching and sharing yoga is a joy for me, as it is my dharma, my path. It’s a blessing to be a part of students’ yogic processes: taking care of their bodies, calming their minds, and setting out on an internal exploration of spirit. My classes are both well thought out and spontaneous in order to meet students’ needs and abilities.
I provide a balance of holding a container for anatomically safe and sound yoga practice, while giving students ways to
find their personal expression of yoga. It is my hope that the peace that teach student finds on the mat, throughout the physical and mental challenges, will pour over into his or her life through the incorporation and cultivation of intention and awareness of body, mind, spirit and breath.
